history (so far)

I am a graduate of the fomer Nyack College in New York state where I received my degree in church music & organ. On May 16, 2005, I began working in the Recorder of Deeds Office in the Willowbank building of the Centre County Courthouse. This brought to a close a banking career of 24 years with the almost 7 years working as a Customer Service Officer for First Commonwealth Banking. The last 20 months of my employment at First Commonwealth was at their Pine Grove Mills, PA branch where I worked in consumer loans, new accounts, & other financially-related services. Soon after I was married, I also served as the Music Director for Shiloh Presbyterian in St. Marys, PA, from 1997 to 2003. I directed the church's adult, youth, & bell choirs for worship services, recitals & pagents. The choir was widely requested to perform outside the church at local community events in the city & county during my tenure. I also helped out at Saint Boniface RC Church in Kersey, PA each Saturday, directing their choir & playing for the church's 5:00pm Mass. After our move to our home in Bellefonte, PA, I served 8 1/2 years as the Director of Music & Choir for the St. John's United Church of Christ in Bellefonte...the oldest UCC Churches in the community. There, I directed one choir rehearsal & prepared the musical worship aspects to their weekly Sunday Services.  For 6 years, I served as the Music/Choral Director at Great Island Presbyterian in Lock Haven, PA. I also have gotten into scrapbooking & stamping (greeting cards) as well as the enjoyment of cooking using my Pampered Chef products. I have frequently made my home available for parties for these interests of mine, too.
